Street Style Across the Globe Fashion Week Recap

It's fashion week around the world, DC Fashion Week just ended with an assortment of visionary designs from local designers and international alike. Ean Williams, the founder never disappoints as he sets the bar higher and higher with each years production outshining those of the past. DC Fashion Week, is so important as it supports my mission to highlight the unique style DC, has cultivated over the years. Through my own personal expression of  style, as well as others, DC Fashion Week, serves as the perfect place to do away with the common misconception that labels supersede self-expression, or that a blue shirt and khakis, are the standard unisex uniform of the masses. It's simply not true, and shame on any Washingtonian, who supports this propaganda! Anywho along with a few images from DC Fashion Week's shows, here are some trendsetting looks from fashion week across the world, that will provide #FashionInspiration !

Style-Icon: Princess Deena Al-Juhani Abdulaziz

As I prepare for my departure, on a much anticipated trip with my husband, to the NBA All Star weekend, in New Orleans, I wanted to share some style inspiration from a new to me style-icon, Saudi Princess Deena Al-Juhani Abdulaziz. She is royalty obviously and although she probably doesn't need to work, she is a boutique owner of D'NA. She's been gracing the front rows of many of New York Fashion Weeks premiere designers and creating quite a stir of her own, with stunning ensembles that A-list celebrities, would salivate over. Enjoy as she shares with Vogue magazine, her preparation for travel to New York Fashion Week. Stay tuned I will attempt to post my looks for the entire weekends events. Sharing from

DIY Kenzo Inspired Clutch via Refinery 29

I love a good DIY project. It brings out your creativity and in most instances, its a great affordable alternative to the otherwise very expensive item, that your dying to have in your closet. I'm sharing this great tutorial presented by Refinery 29, it was a very easy project and I will definitely do an outfit post soon to show off my new clutch!

Love is EveryWhere!

I'm in the mood to discuss the topic of LOVE. Its fabled story has left some of  us in tears of joy and some in sadness. No one person can argue its power as an emotion, because no matter the circumstance in which we encounter its omnipotence, it is something we all seek to find, from the moment we exit the womb. I admit I'm obsessed with loving, the giving and receiving, I even have a small obsession with  looking at the letters L.O.V.E , written in any form. Over time I've accumulated many things with the powerful text spelled out, including a key chain, watch etc. But there is nothing like seeing love in action, feeling its power stream through people like water flows through river bank, what a sight, indeed...
